Please tell me a little about you and your family
I live with my mom (the elementary principal at SFCA), aunt (my mom's twin) and best friend. My sister lives in TX and is also a teacher. I grew up at SFCA attending from 1st Grade to Graduation. I LOVE teaching at SFCA and I attend McGregor Baptist church where I serve in the music ministry.

Tell us something that we would be surprised to know about you:
I hold a Cosmetology License and I have been to 46 of the 50 states

Describe how you feel God has called you to your particular career path:
I fought becoming a teacher because I didn't want to feel like I had to fill my mother's shoes. However, when I was in middle school, God called me to work with students in some capacity and He led me into teaching, specifically in middle school. I tried several different education paths but they all led to teaching middle school.

What attracted you to SFCA?
I grew up at SFCA. I bleed blue and gold, as my family says. There is a significant Christ-focused difference here at SFCA and I am so excited to be apart of it.

In what particular ways do you hope to shape the learning or spiritual experience of our students here at SFCA?
I hope to shape the learning or experience of our students here at SFCA by living life by example and encourage students to do the same.

The SFCA mission statement: Southwest Florida Christian Academy, a ministry of McGregor Baptist Church, will partner with Christian parents to provide their children with a distinctively Biblical and academically excellent education that will equip students to be Godly leaders and to successfully engage the culture for Christ. How do you hope to accomplish this as a faculty/staff member?
In every circumstance I hope to point students back to the Bible and pray that it goes back home to be encouraged by the parents.

What is your biggest desire for each student that walks in to your classroom or office?
My biggest desire for each of my students to walk out of classroom at the end of the year a firm and more confident believer in Christ and that they are able to develop and understanding of who He is their lives.
